Day 1: La Paz to Sorata 2700 3600

Departure from private transport Peace to the valley of Sorata to 2800mts beautiful town located at the foot of the mountain Illampu in the stretch of road there is the majestic peaks of the Cordillera Real. Sorata historic site of the colonial and republican.

Day 2: Sorata – Chillata

Output from the valley of Sorata, starting the walk with the consent of the population Kolani two hours where we will have lunch and then restart the hike to the lake “Chillata” Where will the first campsite.

Day 3: Chillata Laguna – Laguna Glaciar

This day will climb glacier lake at an altitude of 5200 m, this walk is performed in 3 ½ hours. Arriving to it is lunch break, then observe the highest peaks of the mountain and then descend again Illampu the lagoon Chillata to the camp.

Day 4: Laguna Chillata-Sorata

The way down is easier and more pleasant by giving us the opportunity to appreciate the landscape of canyons that descend to the most fertile valleys. Approximately 6 hours of descent, night stay in Sorata.

Day 5: Sorata – La Paz

After a hearty breakfast, our vehicle takes us back to the city of La Paz.
