High camp: 5,100m.

Day 1

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the platform Zongo (2 hours by car). This afternoon we will climb the ancient glaciers with the help of our experienced guide. Before that you will learn more about the use of climbing equipment in practice.

Day 1

After a hearty breakfast we begin our ascent up to the 5000m high camp. The trail is well marked and leads us on a safe route to the summit to our camp and after a short break we start with checking our equipment and we will enjoy an early dinner and then relax as preparation for our climbing the next day.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, we begin our ascent up the glacier, as we ascend to the east side and only after reaching the Pala and then continue our ascent to the summit of Huayna Potosi (6088m). Overall it is a long climb about six hours. Once at the summit, we can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the snowcapped peaks of the Cordillera. Then we make the descent to high camp and then to base camp, where our vehicle is waiting to take us back to the city of La Paz.
