The route covers a large part of the Atacama Desert. The most famous places are San Pedro de Atacama, the geysers of Tatio, the moon valley, Salar de Atacama (salt lake), climbs of the volcanoes Lascar, San Pedro and Guallatiri, the Isluga National Park, Lake Chungara and much more.

Day 1: Arrive in Santiago;
Reception of the group in Santiago de Chile. Transfer by private car to the hotel in Santiago; Check your personal mountain equipment.

Day 2: Flight to Calama.
Transfer from the hotel to the airport in Santiago; Flight to Calama; Transfer to the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 3: Trekking San Pedro – Machuca;
Departing from San Pedro towards the village of San Bartolo. Begin trekking to Pukara Kitor; Camping.

Day 4: San Bartolo – Rio Grande;
Trekking down to the valley, which leads to the city of Rio Grande; Camping near the village.

Day 5: Rio Grande – Machuca – Geysers;
Trekking to the village of Machuca: near the village the famous Geysers del Tatio can be found; transfer; camping.

Day 6: Geysers – the base camp of Lascar volcano.
Before dawn we drive to the geysers. Transfer to the base camp of volcano Lascar, 5.154m high.

Day 7: Summit of the Lascar volcano and descend to base camp;
Ascent to the summit of Lascar, 5.140m high, which offers one of the best views of the Atacama Desert and the surrounding volcanoes.

Day 8: San Pedro de Atacama;
Return to San Pedro de Atacama, visit the lake Lejía, Salar de Aguas Calientes and the Moon Valley; Hotel.

Day 9: San Pedro volcano. 6.145m.
On the way to Calama we go to the north to reach the base camp of San Pedro volcano; Camping.

Day 10: Trekking to Camp 1
4,500 m camp.

Day 11: Trekking to Camp 2
5.300m camp.

Day 12: Summit of the Volcano San Pedro.
Ascent to the summit of 6.140m; Return to Camp 1. 

Day 13: Ollagüe
On returning to base camp, we visit the village Ollagua on the way near the border with Bolivia. This way we will see the salt flats and marshes of Ascot; Camping.

Day 14: Chusmisa.
After a few kilometres in the high Andes we reach Pozo al Monte. We visit the mining site of nitrate. Before the climb, we take a dip in the springs Chusmisa at a temperature of 40 ° C; camping.

Day 15: Salar de Surire (salt lake).
In the high Andes we will visit the National Park where we see the volcano Isluga with an altitude of 5.530m. The journey continues through the Salar de Surire; Camping.

Day 16: Volcano Guallatiri;
Moving through the highlands to the base camp of volcano Guallatiri, 6.063m high; Camping.

Day 17: Summit Guallatiri.

Day 18: Guallatiri – Lake Chungara – Arica.
Departure from Guallatiri and we visit the lake Chungara at 4,500 m. Descent to sea level in the city of Arica; Hotel.

Day 19: Arica – Santiago;
Flight to the city of Santiago.

Day 20: Return
Transfer from hotel to the airport in Santiago.
