Day 1 Chucura – Challapampa. 2.800m

Pick up from hotel towards the summit. 4600 m.s / n.m. where we observe a characteristic fauna of the plateau, llamas and alpacas, as well as seagulls fly over the dam water and are considered bearers of good luck, from this point we still win the top of the pass located at 4780m. Slowly and gradually climbing up to this step where travelers usually leave some offerings. From this point we begin our descent into an area more and more s low vegetation where n and find some homes of pre-Columbian inhabitants of this road. Approximately 6 hours of hiking, camping.

Day 2 Challapampa – Pabellonani

Today we begin our walk after a rest, with lighter clothes, the path is still well preserved, shows the ingenuity and skill of construction and in the days before the arrival of the Incas, as these roads were used to link different ecological systems bringing products from the highlands to the subtropics, while maintaining an active trade. Cross suspension bridges to save the rivers of clear water which are tributaries of the Amazon system, in the afternoon we arrive at our campsite in Pabellonani. Approximately 6 ½ hiking, camping.

Day 3 Pabellonani – Chair

Start the trek early in the morning to take advantage of the best views of this part of the walk, the area becomes wetter and more abundant vegetation, the trail built defies geography of the place in the winding turns down, there are clean water cascades is used by locals for consumption and agricultural work. At noon we arrive at Sandillani, where a friendly Japanese local resident for over thirty years, has built a garden of unparalleled beauty. In the afternoon we reach the end of our journey in arriving at the 1200m.snm Chairo population, where our vehicle awaits us to return to La Paz.

Vehicle:

 Minibus (van) with oxygen equipment.

4×4 vehicle to travel in Bolivia (Toyota Land Cruiser).

 Return from Chairo-La Paz.

Kitchen tent, tables, chairs and kitchen utensils.a.

 Join the national park.

 Cook.

 Mules to carry most of the equipment, it is suggested that up to 15kilos per person.
