Arequipa - On the way of the condors
(5 days - 4 nights)
DAY 01: 10:00 am - Departure from Arica.
12.30 pm - Bus Tacna / Arequipa.
18:30 pm - Arrival in Arequipa, reception and transfer to the hotel. Night.
DAY 02: Campiña Tour (Duration: 4 hours).
09:00 am - Place of the Arms, the Mirador de Carmen Alto, the district Cayma, The place and viewpoint Yanahuara, the factory Incapalca and the zoo, the vantage point of Sachaca, the spa town of Tingo, the landscaped area, the mill of Sabandia, The andenerías of Paucarpata.
Return and rest of the afternoon free.
Day 03: Canyon of Colca (Duration: 02 Days 01 Nights).
08:00 am– Meeting at the hotel. We will head in the Pampa Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas and we will observe vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and migratory birds. Then we will continue to Viscachani where we will taste a mate de Coca. From the mirador of the volcanoes, we will observe the volcanic chain and more particularly: the Hualcahualca, the Sabancalla and the Ampato. To continue we will descend to the village of Chivay (3,600 meters above sea level). Lunch and accommodation in hotel.
In the afternoon, we will come to thermal baths Calera where we will enjoy for 2 hours. These waters are medicinal thermal waters that can exceed 40 degrees, great for physical diseases.
* Option For the evening, dinner with a folklore group.
DAY 04: Cross of the condor.
We will take our breakfast early morning (5:30 am) to go towards the cross of the condor where we will stay around 2 hours. On this site you can enjoy the best depth of the Canyon of Colca and also the flight of the condors a short distance.
On return, we will observe the archaeological remains, agricultural terraces pre-Inca and other sightseeing of the Colca Canyon. We will visit the villages Pinchollo, Maca, Achome, Yanque where we will observe local churches, craft centers, the typical clothes among others ....
Arrival in Chivay and lunch.
Back to 17:30 pm - Arrival in Arequipa, night.
DAY 05: Tranfer to the Terminal.
07:30 am - Return bus Arequipa - Tacna.
13:00 pm - Arrival in Tacna, Transfer to Arica.
